Week #4 Effective Communication and Story Telling
During the fourth week of our project, our instructor and adviser provided us with a comprehensive lesson on interviewing techniques, emphasizing the importance of asking the right questions and properly formatting our interviews and paperwork. We learned valuable insights on how to conduct effective interviews and extract useful information from our respondents.
Our instructor also stressed that it's never too late to reconsider our concept or product if the interviews make us realize that it's not a significant problem or if it takes a longer time to complete. This statement resonated with me, and after the meeting, I came to the realization that our current project, while brilliant, needed to be changed. I discussed this with my team, and we all agreed that we needed to shift our focus.
We held a brainstorming session and generated new ideas to replace our current project. However, we felt the need to consult our instructor before making any drastic changes. We hoped that our new concept would align with our instructor's expectations and that we could proceed with the project without any issues.
Overall, the lesson on interviewing techniques was informative, and it opened our eyes to the importance of conducting effective interviews. Additionally, the instructor's words of encouragement gave us the confidence to reconsider our project and strive for excellence. We were optimistic that with our revised concept, we could make significant progress in the coming weeks.
