Week #17 Pitching Instructors Level

 

        This week, we dedicated our efforts to following the given instructions and preparing ourselves for the final pitch. It was crucial to adhere to the time constraint, as the team's pitch had to be delivered within a maximum of 5 minutes. Additionally, we were required to create a 1-minute video demo of our prototype, ensuring a smooth transition during the presentation. We focused on perfecting our pitch deck and video demo, following the guidelines provided in the lecture series on the composition of pitch decks and pitching and fundraising. It was emphasized that after our pitch and demo, we would have a 10-minute question and answer session with the invited panel members, during which our team mates would be prepared to respond to any inquiries. As the final pitch would be conducted face-to-face at the Makerspace, we were expected to dress in semi-formal or formal attire to maintain a professional image. We received recorded videos and files from our instructors, which provided additional guidance and support for our preparations. Practicing our delivery and pitch became a top priority, as it would greatly impact our overall score.
