Week #7 Lecture Series Day 2

April 3rd, 2023

Today's lecture series on building an MVP by Engr. Bronson G Mabulay was highly informative and thought-provoking. It provided valuable insights that further enhanced my understanding of the topic. The session not only reinforced my existing knowledge but also introduced new concepts and perspectives.

Engr. Mabulay's expertise and enthusiasm for the subject were evident throughout the session. He effectively conveyed the significance of an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) in the product development process, emphasizing the importance of focusing on essential features to validate ideas and gather user feedback. Real-world examples and case studies were shared, making the concepts more relatable and applicable.

A key takeaway for me was the emphasis on prioritizing user needs and pain points when defining the scope of an MVP. It was a reminder that simplicity can be powerful and that including too many features can impede the initial testing and feedback process. Engr. Mabulay's advice to start with a core solution and iterate based on user feedback resonated with me.

The discussion on rapid prototyping and agile development methodologies was particularly valuable. Engr. Mabulay highlighted the importance of continuous iteration and adaptation based on user insights. This reinforced my belief in the iterative approach and the need for flexibility throughout the product development journey.

Moreover, the lecture series motivated me to explore additional internet sources on building MVPs. I am determined to deepen my knowledge and understand different strategies and frameworks that successful entrepreneurs have used in the past. My goal is to equip myself with the best tools and practices to create impactful products in the future.

This week, our focus was on conducting an interview with the team leader responsible for the parking spot at SNR. The purpose of the interview was to gain an understanding of the necessary requirements and gather insights from the team leader regarding the parking area.
